Welcome to Denison Dash! We're a student-run delivery service created by Denison students, for Denison students. By using our service, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Service Overview
Denison Dash is an independent delivery service operated by Denison students. We facilitate campus dining delivery orders for members of the campus community. Our service is provided on an as-available basis.
2. No Guarantee of Request Acceptance
We make every effort to fulfill orders submitted through our platform, but we cannot guarantee that all requests submitted to our site will be accepted. Factors including but not limited to delivery person availability, missing order information / incorrect order format, weather conditions, and order volume may prevent us from accepting your order. We will not accept your request if we cannot complete it.
3. Pricing
All prices displayed on our platform are set at our sole discretion and may vary from order to order. Prices may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to distance, demand, time of day, and other operational factors. By placing an order and paying through venmo, you agree to pay the price displayed on your request. See the price guide for more information
4. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any user for any reason at our sole discretion. Reasons may include but are not limited to violation of these terms, abusive behavior toward staff, fraudulent activity, or operational constraints.
5. Payment and Chargebacks
5.1 Payment Terms
Payment is done after order acceptance. Orders are delivered only after payment has been collected. Refunds for any reason are at our sole discretion.
5.2 Chargeback Policy
Chargebacks are not permitted for any reason. If your food or items were not delivered at all within two hours of payment, email us and we will do our best provide a refund.
Initiating a chargeback will result in immediate suspension of your account and possible referral to university administration.
5.3 Refunds and Disputes
For issues with your order, please contact us directly through denisondash@gmail.com. We will work with you to resolve legitimate complaints, which may include partial or full refunds at our discretion.
6. User Responsibilities
By submiting a request on our site you agree to:
- Accurately provide all the required and delivery information, see order guidelines for more information.
- Be available to receive your order
- Treat our staff with respect
- Not misuse or abuse our service
- Comply with all applicable laws and university policies
7. Limitation of Liability
Denison Dash is operated by students and is not directly affiliated with Denison University. We provide this service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for issues with food quality, food provider errors, delays, or any other such damages resulting from use of our service.
8. Enforcement and Violations
Failure to comply with these Terms of Service may result in:
- Deletion of your request
- A ban from using our service
- Referral to Denison University administration in cases of serious violations, including but not limited to harassment, fraud, repeated policy violations, or other conduct that violates university policies
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
